Once the weather drops, I default to a winter uniform, all black. Channeling my inner ‘90s supermodel, this dark tonal color palette ranges from midnight blues to sheer blacks. It’s timeless, chic, and sultry. In turn, that’s exactly how I would describe the GapStudio Winter 2025 Collection.
Designed by Zac Posen, the winter collection stars Gwyneth Paltrow and her daughter, Apple Martin. Launching in stores on November 18, the release features an unmistakable appreciation for ’90s minimalism. The clean lines, semi-sheer dresses, and tailored suiting set the tone for a chic winter wardrobe.
Come with me as I try on the GapStudio Winter 2025 Collection. You’ll find a flirty three-piece ensemble, a velvet-leopard LBD perfect for any holiday occasion, a faux-fur masterpiece, a corduroy set cinched at the waist, and a barrel-leg pant that’s convinced me this curved silhouette deserves a spot in my winter outfit rotation.

Outfit #1: Low Rise Boot Trousers + Tuxedo Vest + Tailored Blazer
I can’t stop thinking about this three-piece suit. From the Low-Rise Boot Trousers to the Tuxedo Vest to the Tailored Blazer, this powerful, sensual suiting ranks number one in my book. Here I’m wearing a size two pant, and I’ve fallen in love with the fitted look around my hips and waist that flares seamlessly into a wide-leg boot cut.
I highly suggest styling this ’90s-inspired ensemble with a pair of pointed-toe kitten-heel boots for even more attitude. Showing off just the right amount of skin, I felt cool, confident, and chic in this GapStudio set. I’ve already made plans to meet friends so I can wear this out in NYC.

Outfit #2: Velvet Leopard Slip Dress + Faux Fur Jacket
Semi-sheer, velvet, and leopard print topped with a black-and-white faux-fur jacket? That’s rhetorical. The answer is yes. The moment I slipped on this buttery velvet dress, I did not want to take it off. It was flirty, romantic, and skin-tight. I’ve already decided I’m wearing this to an upcoming holiday party.
This dress will be a hot pick from the GapStudio Winter 2025 Collection, so it’s best to buy it while it’s still in stock. Second to the Burnout Velvet Leopard Slip Dress, the Faux-Fur Jacket was another editor-favorite. Unbelievably soft, I predict the oversized, fluffy coat will be another GapStudo sellout. If I’ve convinced you to purchase either (or both, don’t they look chic together?), be prepared to turn heads.

Outfit #3: Low Rise Corduroy Wide-Leg Pants + Fitted Icon Corduroy Jacket
A Canadian tuxedo is for an all-denim look, but what do you call a corduroy set? A Cordury Tuxedo, perhaps? This “dated” winter fabric has once again found its place in a fashion person’s closet. Style the corduroy pant and jacket together for an effortlessly chic winter outfit, or wear them separately as two winter closet staples.
I’ve spotted the cinched-top trend on cardigans and collarless blazers, but I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I’ve enjoyed this cinched-waist corduroy jacket. I buttoned it up to get the full dramatic effect next to these low-rise wide-leg pants.

Outfit #4: Rib T-Shirt + High-Rise Barrel Trousers + Trench Coat
GapStudio has nailed it with this midnight blue look. The High-Rise Barrel Trousers have single-handedly convinced me that the barrel-leg trend isn’t just a fad, it’s a lifestyle. I found the pleating on the trousers and the ribbing on the t-shirt accentuated my figure, and the oversized trench beautifully complemented the fitted look.
I can’t wait to see how this dark navy trench fits in my winter closet. Imagine it with an oversized knit pair of Gap khakis and a sporty sneaker. Oh, I just got the chills.
