Picture it: You and your best friends are getting ready in your apartment. You’ve slipped on a sequin minidress, makeup is strewn across your vanity, and your bubblegum-pop Y2K playlist (or your pre-party playlist of choice) is blasting from your phone speaker. It’s official: Holiday party season is in full swing. I’ve been searching for some fresh makeup ideas for such occasions, and who better to ask than someone who lives and breathes nightlife? So, I called on Christa Eduafo, AKA DJ CHVMELEON—an NYC-based DJ, content creator, and social strategist—to give me some party-makeup inspo.
“My go-to makeup look is a natural beat or soft glam. Lots of blush, sharp liner, mascara, and a neutral lip combo,” Eduafo tells me. “But the holidays are an excuse to get a little more colorful, glittery, and festive, so that’s what I aimed for with this look.”
